Jonathan Dattani
President
Jonny is a Solicitor in the Private Client team at Ashtons Legal. He completed the LLM Legal Practice Course (Solicitors) with distinction at BPP University, having previously completed the Graduate Diploma in Law and a BA (Hons) in Philosophy with Law. Jonathan is also an affiliate member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, with a background in Wills, Trusts & Probate.
Jonny sits on the Cambridgeshire Law Society committee where he acts as the CJLD’s representative and as a co-ordinator for the CLS’ events at the local universities. Jonny served as Vice President of the CJLD before becoming President.
As President, he looks forward to expanding the membership and reach of the CJLD and providing a wide variety of interesting and different opportunities for legal professionals in the community to connect.

​Phoebe is a current trainee solicitor at Woodfines LLP and is due to qualify in April 2025. As the current Vice President, Phoebe works at increasing our memberships by interacting with legal professionals who are early on in their careers as well as students. She also attends the National Junior Lawyers Division meetings on behalf of the committee. Phoebe looks forward to continuing to organise, engage and attend our events and be part of the successful growing network of young lawyers we have across Cambridgeshire.

Nicola Warren
Nicola is an Associate at Mills & Reeve and this will be her third year being part of the CJLD Committee. As Treasurer for the 2024 Committee, she looks forward to growing the society further and welcoming both new and current members to increase the successful networking of young lawyers across Cambridgeshire.

Publicity Representative
Ebony is a Legal Assistant within the Lifetime Planning team at Ashtons Legal with a view of being a Trainee Solicitor in the next two years. As a Publicity Representative for the 2024 Committee she will focus on developing CJLD’s social media presence and will continue to publicise events as much as possible to junior legal professionals around Cambridgeshire.
Olivia is a second-year trainee solicitor at Stephenson Law, currently in her third seat in the Emerging Tech & Regulation department. She completed the LPC LLM with Distinction in 2021, and with a background in English language and literature, Olivia is well equipped to support the 2023 Committee in writing and editing website copy and legal articles. Olivia is also a member of the Society of Computers & Law Trainee Group and hopes to encourage connections between junior lawyers across the East and in London through collaborative events as a result.

Abbie Melloy
Social Secretary
Abbie is a Solicitor in the Serious Injury team at Irwin Mitchell LLP. She qualified in August 2023, having completed seats in Medical Negligence, Court of Protection and Serious Injury. This is Abbie's 3rd year as social secretary on the committee and she also helps with organising the CYPG/CJLD ball in September.

Megan is a Paralegal in the Clinical Negligence team at Tees. She studied Law at the University of Southampton and will be starting the SQE in April 2023. As a Social Secretary on the 2023 CJLD Committee, Megan hopes to carry on and build on the successful events of 2022. She's looking forward to taking an active role in the committee by organising various fun events to connect more firms and young lawyers across the Cambridge area.

Isobel is a Trainee Solicitor at Birketts LLP currently completing her second seat in Private Client. Prior to joining Birketts, she studied Education Studies with History at Durham University and went on to complete her GDL and LPC at BPP Holborn, London. Isobel is looking forward to helping organise and plan exciting events for junior lawyers throughout Cambridgeshire.

Sophie is a second-year trainee at Irwin Mitchell and is currently doing a 6-month seat in Medical Negligence. She is keen to get involved in the Committee to help organise activities/events for our members that promote networking, encourage professional growth, and strengthen personal connections

Gabriella Cox

Gabriella is a third-seat Trainee Solicitor in the Corporate and Commercial department at Tees. She graduated from The University of York in 2016 with a degree in Law and has completed the Legal Practice Course. As a Social Secretary, Gabriella will continue to collaborate with the rest of the Committee and helping to organise some fun events for junior lawyers to network.

Olga is a future trainee solicitor at Greene and Greene Solicitors, set to begin her training contract in September 2024. She completed her Law degree at Anglia Ruskin University and will start her SQE at BPP University this September. As an education representative, Olga is dedicated to connecting students from all academic institutions in Cambridge with CJLD events.
