The Cambridge Junior Lawyers Division had their Virtual Chocolate Tasting event on the 2nd June 2021.
The event was hosted by Cheryl Brighty from Artistry in Cocoa, who talked everybody through a selection of chocolates sourced from different cocoa plantations around the globe, including beans grown in Vietnams Mekong Delta and beans grown in the Sambarino Rainforest in Northwest Madagascar.
It was interesting to hear the history of chocolate, how it is made and how it came to be known to us as it is today. Did you know that eating cocoa nibs are good for cleaning your teeth?
Thank you to Artistry in Cocoa for hosting such a choc-tastic event, thank you to everyone who attended, and our committee members for organising another delicious event.
We hope to host our first in-person event – “Pizza in the Park”, in the upcoming months. More details on this to follow!
